The number one thing I hear from clients after their session is "wow, that was not as bad as I thought it would be!" Being in front of the camera can be scary but, within the first few minutes of any Faded Fern session, you will feel safe, goofy, and free to just be swept up by your moment. I know I am doing my job well when the couple starts to forget I am even there. I guide any wedding day or session with calm and clear directions so you know exactly where you need to be and what you need to be doing, don't worry!
Before we get into all the business talk, let's just get to know each other! Outside of my photography, I am a lover of all things nature and art. From painting wall murals to traveling to any National Parks, connecting with my artistic side makes me feel alive. Learning new things from people and understanding how they feel and navigate the world is a deep passion of mine. So, yes, we will capture your life moment in beautiful ways but, I also hope we become friends!
So much of your wedding day is actually spent with your photographer. Finding a person you genuinely enjoy being around but also someone you can trust will be professional and artistic can be tricky. That is why I love this job! I do everything in my power prior to the day and on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly and without stress. I also keep my creative energy high throughout the day so every moment is captured in true-to-the-life ways that you can hold onto for years to come.
As an artist and an empath, I experience the world around me deeply. Simple things have strong meaning to me and small moments move me in big ways. Your wedding will be no different! I treasure each couple and wedding I have the honor of being a part of. From reading books, to writing my feelings, to painting and drawing, my life revolves around expression and genuineness and so does my photography.
